Hello friends, I'm Lauren Skolout. I'm the owner of Mint 217! I was born and raised in McCook, Nebraska. I took over Mint 217 in 2019 from my sister in law Leah Ruggles. Prior to me owning it, I was her sidekick with daily operations at the store. When the opportunity of buying Mint 217 came about, I jumped all over it! That's when we bring in my husband, meet Clayton Skolout. After 3 months of dating, I told him I was going to buy a boutique and he didn't hesitate. That's when he should've ran! ;) We got married in 2021 and he is super supportive as I live my dream of being a boutique owner. We are so happy to be back home in McCook. The boutique is right in the heart of downtown so come check it out. I'm just a girl who loves fashion and loves helping customers feel beautiful.
